Chemical Issues and the Athlete presents a detailed overview of several of the key issues that high school coaches are facing as a result of chemical use/abuse by their athletes. The video emphasizes what coaches should look for in order to recognize symptoms of such use and what can be done to effectively address the problem. The author shares his experiences concerning how his athletes who were experiencing this problem were able to turn their lives and their school’s sports program into winners.
